ohGr

ohGr is the brainchild of Nivek Ogre, best known as the frontman of the influential industrial band Skinny Puppy. Formed in the early 2000s, ohGr blends abrasive electronic textures, experimental sounds, and darkly surreal lyrical themes, showcasing a slightly more theatrical and often more melodic side compared to Ogre's work with Skinny Puppy. The project pairs him with longtime collaborator Mark Walk and has developed a distinctive style that incorporates elements of industrial, synthpop, and electro.

The debut album, Welt, dropped in 2001 and set the tone for ohGr’s twisted sonic landscape. Since then, the project has released several records, including Sunnypsyop (2003), Devils In My Details (2008), Undeveloped (2011), and Tricks (2018). Each album carries a unique sonic identity while staying true to the cryptic, dystopian aesthetic that fans of industrial music have come to expect from Ogre’s work. ohGr offers a compelling, off-kilter journey through the darker corners of electronic music.
