Kaleikr

Kaleikr is a progressive black/death metal band from Reykjavík, Iceland, known for blending intense technical skill with atmospheric and emotionally heavy songwriting. Formed in 2016 by former members of the band Draugsol, Kaleikr made a strong debut with their 2019 album Heart of Lead, which showcased their penchant for complex song structures, powerful melodies, and a dark, brooding aesthetic. Their music often weaves between ferocious aggression and haunting, melancholic passages, drawing influences from both the black metal and progressive metal worlds.
