The Click Five was an American power pop band originally from Boston, Massachusetts, known for their catchy hooks, sharp-dressed style, and classic pop-rock sound. Founded in 2003, the group quickly rose to fame with their 2005 debut album, "Greetings From Imrie House." With their Beatles-esque mops and modern take on the '60s British Invasion pop, the band captured the hearts of fans with hits such as "Just the Girl" and "Catch Your Wave." Their success continued with the 2007 follow-up album, "Modern Minds and Pastimes," which included tracks like "Jenny" and reinforced their infectious pop-rock credentials.
The lineup most famously included lead vocalist Eric Dill (who was later replaced by Kyle Patrick), lead guitarist Joe Guese, bassist Ethan Mentzer, keyboardist Ben Romans, and drummer Joey Zehr. The band also made a notable holiday contribution with "My Girlfriend (Forgot Me This Christmas)" showcasing their ability to mix humor and holiday spirit. By their third album, "TCV," released in 2010, The Click Five had matured in their sound, but continued to honor the catchy, melodic pop that made them a favorite among fans. Although the band officially disbanded in 2013, they left behind a legacy of early 21st-century pop-rock charm that still resonates with fans around the globe.
