Anders Eliasson (1947–2013) was a distinguished Swedish composer, renowned for his contributions to contemporary classical music. His sound world is characterized by a deeply personal and spiritual approach to tonality, and an attention to intricate detail, which resonates through the body of work he left behind. Born in Borlänge, Dalarna, Eliasson was largely self-taught before entering the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, where he studied from 1966 to 1972.
