Dungortheb

Dungortheb is a French Death Metal band formed in 1996 in Epinal. The band's early lineup included Nelson Pontifice and Sébastien Valbrecq on guitars, Anthony Thiebaut on bass, Hervé Joly on drums, and David Schabath on vocals. They released their debut album "Intended To..." in 2003 on Perennial Quest Records, which received positive reviews and allowed them to perform across France, Germany, Belgium, and Luxembourg alongside notable bands like Marduk and Blockheads. Their second album, "Waiting for Silence," was released in 2008, showcasing their ability to craft complex and aggressive music. Dungortheb continued to evolve, releasing "Extracting Souls" in 2014, further solidifying their presence in the Death Metal scene.

Dungortheb is known for their intense live performances, which have captivated audiences at events like the BLAST Knight. Their music often explores themes of melancholy, mortality, and the macabre, with a distinctive blend of technical mastery and raw intensity.
