Pin Group is a post-punk band from New York City that formed in 1979. The band's original lineup consisted of guitarist/vocalist Lydia Lunch, bassist/vocalist Kate Schellenbach, and drummer/vocalist Adele Bertei. Pin Group's music is characterized by its angular guitars, driving rhythms, and confrontational lyrics. The band has released a number of albums, including "The Pin Group" (1980), "Low Life" (1981), and "Venus in Furs" (1983). Pin Group has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has performed with a variety of bands, including Sonic Youth, The Cramps, and The Birthday Party.
