Dječji Zbor Zdravo Maleni

**Dječji Zbor Zdravo Maleni** is a renowned Croatian children's choir, founded in 1958 at the OŠ Jurja Šižgorića (formerly OŠ Maršala Tita) in Šibenik. The choir was established by the legendary music educator Zlata Bašić, who played a pivotal role in transforming it from a school choir into a prominent cultural symbol of Šibenik. Over the years, "Zdravo Maleni" has become an integral part of the city's cultural landscape, particularly associated with the Međunarodni Dječji Festival (MDF), one of the largest children's festivals in Croatia. The choir has performed numerous iconic songs, including those by notable composers like Arsen Dedić and Alfi Kabiljo. With a legacy spanning over six decades, "Zdravo Maleni" continues to inspire new generations of young singers.

In recent years, the choir has been led by Filip Knežević, who aims to expand its repertoire and age range, ensuring that older students can continue participating beyond their elementary school years. This vision includes collaborating with other choirs and potentially performing internationally. The choir's performances often feature a mix of classic and contemporary pieces, reflecting its enduring impact on Croatian cultural heritage. With over 3,000 children having sung with "Zdravo Maleni" over the years, it remains a cherished institution in Šibenik, celebrating its 65th anniversary with continued passion and dedication to music education.
