Taíssa Poliakova Cunha is a talented pianist born in Lisbon, Portugal. She began her musical journey at a young age, starting piano studies with her mother, Svetlana Poliakova, when she was just five years old. She continued her education at the National Conservatory of Lisbon and later at the Conservatório Superior de Música de Castilla y León in Salamanca, where she graduated cum laude in 2013. Taíssa furthered her studies by earning a Master's degree in Music from the University of Aveiro in 2017, receiving the award for Best Student of the Masters in Music that year. She has also had the opportunity to study privately with renowned teacher Oxana Yablonskaya from the Juilliard School in New York between 2012 and 2017.
