Bratři Orffové

Bratři Orffové is a Czech alternative music group from Krnov, formed in 2002 by Ivan Gajdoš and Lukáš Novotný. The name of the group pays homage to the work of Carl Orff. Ivan Gajdoš serves as the frontman, while Lukáš Novotný represents him publicly. The band's music often features themes centered around a character named Serža Vantóš, who symbolizes the life of a petit bourgeois trying to understand the world around him. Bratři Orffové have released notable albums such as *Bingriwingri* (2005) and *Šero* (2013), with the latter receiving significant awards, including the Anděl Award for Album of the Year and the Apollo Award for Best Album of 2013.

The group's sound is characterized by its ability to evoke a wide range of emotions through soul-stirring melodies and expert musicianship. Their music often blends elements of folk with modern electronic influences, creating a unique electrofolk sound. Over the years, Bratři Orffové have maintained a loyal following and continue to contribute to the vibrant Czech music scene.
