Sandy e Junior were a beloved Brazilian pop duo made up of siblings Sandy Leah Lima and Durval de Lima Junior (better known as Junior Lima). They began performing as children in the early 1990s, quickly becoming national sensations with their catchy songs, wholesome image, and undeniable onstage chemistry. Influenced by pop, MPB, rock, and elements of Brazilian sertanejo, their music spoke to an entire generation growing up in Brazil during the '90s and early 2000s.
Over the years, Sandy e Junior released multiple platinum-selling albums, hosted their own TV show, and sold out massive venues—including a historic concert at the Maracanã Stadium. After pursuing successful solo careers following their split in 2007, the duo reunited in 2019 for their hugely anticipated “Nossa História” tour, celebrating 30 years of music with fans across Brazil. Their musical legacy remains a significant part of Brazilian pop culture.
