Antonio Bazzini (1818–1897) was an Italian violinist, composer, and teacher, best known for his dazzling virtuoso violin works. A student of Paganini's school of playing, Bazzini wowed audiences across Europe with his technical brilliance and expressive performances. His most famous piece, *La ronde des lutins* (or *Dance of the Goblins*), remains a favorite among violinists for its lightning-fast passages and playful, mischievous character. Later in life, he focused more on composition and teaching, mentoring future luminaries like Puccini at the Milan Conservatory. While he may not be as widely known today, his works still challenge and inspire violinists around the world.
