TELMA

TELMA is a modern metal band from Larisa, Greece, active for several years with a lineup featuring Mark and Filip Kotoulas (brothers on guitars and bass), Anthony Kyritsis on vocals, Kostas Koutsomarkos on guitars, and Mike Tziastoudis on drums. Their music combines aggressive metal intensity with emotionally charged vocals and guitar solos, drawing comparisons at times to Slipknot but with its own unique melodic and lyrical approach. TELMA released their debut album *Eternal* in 2021 and followed up with their sophomore album *Awakening* on February 28, 2025, which broadens their thematic scope to address social issues like power abuse, injustice, and gender-based violence while maintaining their signature heavy sound.

The album *Awakening* includes tracks like “Crystal Clear,” “Belly of the Beast,” and “Seventeen,” and was produced by George Margaritopoulos, mixed by Fotis Benardo, and mastered by Tony Lindgren. The band has toured across the Balkans and Europe, capturing their live energy and connecting with fans through powerful performances. They emphasize both musical passion and socially conscious messages, creating metal music that is intense but introspective.
