Jon Fadem

Jon Fadem is a New Jersey-born guitarist who started playing at age 13 and honed his craft studying music at Oberlin College and Conservatory. With a rich musical background influenced by legends like Miles Davis, Joni Mitchell, Jimi Hendrix, and Stevie Wonder, Jon has built a diverse career in funk, rock, jazz, and soul. He’s a founding member and musical director of the nationally and internationally touring Talking Heads tribute band Start Making Sense and has also performed with notable artists including George Clinton and Bernie Worrell. Jon's original music, including his solo debut album *Thankful*, blends guitar-driven instrumental styles that cross genres, appealing to a wide range of music fans.

Alongside his band work, Jon often performs solo shows using a looper pedal to recreate full-band sounds live, covering classics from artists such as Prince, The Beatles, and Led Zeppelin. His versatile playing and dedication have earned him several nominations as Best Guitarist in the Lehigh Valley Music Awards. Recent singles like "Sunshine," "Postcard," "Thankful," and "Vibe" showcase his evolving solo artistry rooted in soulful, gritty guitar work and heartfelt songwriting.
