Saidêra is a killer trio blending Brazilian vibes with New York energy, cooking up what they call “samba disco-Afro melody” that's all about sun-soaked percussion, shimmering synths, guitars, and feel-good vocals.
It all kicked off in 2014 when Lemonade band member Alex Pasternak was DJing a house party in Rio's bohemian Santa Teresa neighborhood and got blown away by local singer/sambista Vadinho Freire freestyling over his set—they clicked instantly and teamed up, with New Yorker Le Chev rounding out the group. Now splitting time between Rio and California, they've dropped carnival-bangers on Brooklyn's Let's Play House label and made waves with their Leng Records debut 'Luzes Da Cidade,' plus hits like 'Deixa Tudo Fluir' featuring Nathan Haines.
