Juventino Rosas was a Mexican composer and violinist who lived from 1868 to 1894. He is best known for his waltz "Sobre las Olas" (Over the Waves), which became a worldwide hit and is still popular today. Rosas was a talented musician who began playing the violin at a young age. He studied music at the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico City and later toured Europe, where he performed his music to great acclaim. Rosas died tragically at the age of 26 from a heart attack, but his music continues to live on and inspire musicians and audiences alike.
