Children On Stun

Children On Stun is a British alternative rock band that emerged from the early '90s goth scene, recognized for their spirited blend of gothic rock and post-punk elements. The group originated in Eastbourne, England in 1991, and swiftly carved out a niche for themselves with their energetic live performances and a striking sound that managed to both nod to the classic goth rock aesthetic and infuse it with a fresh, more contemporary edge.

Over the years, the band has seen various lineup changes but has consistently been anchored by the presence of founding member Neil Ash. Children On Stun gained a cult following with a series of releases that showcased their dynamic range and darkly poetic lyrics. Albums like "Tourniquets of Love's Desire" and "Mondo Weird" became underground hits. Their catalogue was later expanded with the release of "Echoes" and revisited with a remaster of one of their seminal works, "Tourniquets of Love's Desire (Deluxe Edition - 2021 Remaster)," which brought the band's earlier, raw sound into a new era and reminded the scene of their lasting influence. Though the group has never achieved mainstream success, they have maintained a loyal fan base and continue to be celebrated for their contributions to the gothic rock genre.
