Sanna Salminen

Sanna Salminen is a Finnish music educator, choir conductor, and university teacher based at the University of Jyväskylä, where she specializes in music pedagogy. She’s been recognized in her home country for her work in music education and has also collaborated internationally, including a long-running research and teaching project with the Department of Music in South Africa since 2000.

Alongside her academic work, Sanna is known for her musical collaborations, especially with the ensemble Vox Aurea. She’s featured on albums like “Pato” (2021) and “Vox Aurea: A Journey into Christmas” (2013), which highlight her passion for choral music and her commitment to bringing people together through song.
