Ananda Monet

Ananda Monet is a singer and mantra-music artist originally from Russia, now based in the UK. She grew up in a family of bhakti yoga practitioners and was exposed to mantra meditation and Vedic philosophy from a young age. After graduating from music college in Moscow as a singer, she released a Russian-language pop album in 2007 before moving to the UK, where she became deeply involved in the kirtan scene. Her music blends traditional mantra chanting with emotional and soulful expressions, often delivered in Sanskrit, creating a spiritual and immersive experience for listeners.

One of her notable projects is the 2015 album *Inevitable Time*, produced with Radha Krishna Records, which is based on the ancient Indian epic Mahabharata. The album features songs sung entirely in Sanskrit and draws lyrics from sacred texts like the Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam. Beyond recording, Ananda Monet actively participates in kirtan events and sound therapy sessions in London, co-founding Soundspa London and collaborating with various kirtan and mantra music projects to make this devotional music accessible to broader audiences. She is also a mom of two and continues to share her passion for mantra music and sound healing through live performances and workshops.
