Monastery Dead

Monastery Dead is a Russian death metal band formed in 2004 by Vadim Nikolaev. The band has been active for over two decades, touring both locally and internationally, and sharing the stage with notable bands like Haemorrhage, Dying Fetus, and Debauchery. Their discography includes four albums: "Victims of Senseless Massacre" (2009), "Cold and Gloom" (2012), "Black Gold Appetite" (2015), and more recently, "Ego Sum Dolor" released in 2024. They have also released singles such as "Mindscars," "Devoured by the Booze," and "Bloodshot."

The band's current lineup includes Kirill Zhariikov on drums, Vadim Nikolaev on bass, Anton Malov on vocals, and Kirill Tatarinov handling guitar duties and backing vocals. Monastery Dead's music is characterized by its heavy, intense sound, often incorporating themes of darkness and intensity typical of the death metal genre. Their most recent album, "Ego Sum Dolor," was co-released by Satanath Records and Australis Records, further solidifying their presence in the global metal scene.
