Schizma

Schizma is a Polish hardcore band formed in 1990 in Bydgoszcz, born out of members wanting to pursue a more aggressive and direct punk rock expression from their previous band Kompania Karma. Known as one of the longest-running and most influential bands in the Polish hardcore scene, Schizma has built a reputation for their fast, heavy, and intense sound characterized by thick, dense riffs and raw energy. Their music is deeply rooted in hardcore punk ethos, mixing aggressive musical delivery with socially conscious and tolerant messages often expressed during their passionate live performances.

Over the years, Schizma has released numerous albums and recordings, including their notable debut "Energii" in 1994 and more recent works like "Whatever It Takes, Whatever It Wrecks" (2010) and "Upadek" (2023), which marked their return after a hiatus and was well received by fans and critics alike. They've toured extensively not only across Poland but also internationally in countries like Germany, France, the Czech Republic, and even South Korea, gaining a dedicated fanbase with their energetic and heartfelt shows. Their commitment to the hardcore scene and independent spirit has made them a respected name in Polish punk and hardcore for over three decades.
