Hashtag Ensemble

Hashtag Ensemble is a dynamic music cooperative founded in 2013, bringing together eighteen talented musicians under a creative leadership. They specialize in contemporary music performance, improvisation, and music education, focusing on accessible and engaging concert experiences that go beyond typical musical presentations. Known for their narrative-driven programming, Hashtag Ensemble often performs in non-traditional settings, integrating community and locality into their art. The group is also committed to showcasing the works of women composers and fostering artistic development among young musicians and composers, positioning themselves as a socially responsible and egalitarian cultural institution.

The ensemble has gained recognition for their inventive approach to new music, performing at major Polish and international festivals and producing numerous concerts, chamber operas, and studio albums. They blend contemporary music with improvisation and often involve the audience and local communities, creating unique interactive experiences.
