Albane Carrère

Albane Carrère is a French mezzo-soprano born in Vienna, Austria. Initially pursuing sociology, she later shifted her focus to music, studying at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels. Albane has built a diverse operatic career, featuring significant roles such as Mercedes in *Carmen*, Annina in *La Traviata*, and Adine in the world premiere of *La Dispute* by Benoît Mernier at Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie in Brussels. She has performed in prestigious venues across Europe, including the Théâtre Antique des Chorégies d'Orange and the Nantes Opera. Her repertoire spans from Mozart’s Zerlina to works by Korngold, Berlioz, and Rossini, showcasing her versatility in both opera and concert settings. Albane has also been involved in several world premieres, notably singing the mezzo solo in *Reverdy's Cosmicomiche* at Nice Opera and *Is this the End, part 1?* at Théâtre de la Monnaie.
