Pablo Fagundes is a Brazilian musician born in Brasília, Brazil. He began his musical journey 16 years ago, discovering the black roots of blues through the diatonic harmonica in 1992. Fagundes is known for his work in consolidating both chromatic and diatonic harmonicas in Brazilian music. He is a founding member of the cultural group "Pé de Cerrado," which specializes in regional Brazilian rhythms like coco, maracatu, ciranda, and baião. In 2004, he performed as part of the Brazilian All Stars Blues Band in the opening act for B.B. King's show in Brasília. Fagundes has also been involved in international events, such as the 44th SPAH (Society for the Preservation and Advancement of the Harmonica) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 2007. He has collaborated with notable musicians, including Ted Falcon, with whom he released the album "Transcontinental Music Express."
Fagundes has also taught the first chromatic harmonica course at the prestigious Raphael Rabello choro school in Brasília. His recent releases include albums like "Foles" and collaborations with other artists. His work reflects a deep connection to Brazilian musical traditions while exploring the versatility of the harmonica in various genres.
