Do Shaska!

Do Shaska is an experimental audio-visual project that emerged in the late 1980s as a reaction to the North-Bohemian punk scene. They are known for their unique blend of dark atmospheres, sampled loops, ethnic instruments, and chilling electronics. Their music often features live guitars, which were introduced for the first time in their 2002 release "Androgyne Haarem." This album showcased the band's sense of mystery and imagination, combining semi-real and fictive visions. Do Shaska is considered one of the most mystical bands in the Czech music scene, adding an element of sophisticated irony to their work.

Some of their notable releases include "Androgyne Haarem" and other albums like "Alchymische Alraune" and "Anaemische Taenze." Their live performances are often semi-improvised, such as the one recorded at Cirkus in 2005. This blend of experimental music and audio-visual elements has captivated audiences and positioned Do Shaska as a standout in the Czech post-industrial music scene.
