Kiol, born Alessandro Bossi, is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer originally from Turin, Italy, now based in London. He began making music at a young age and by his late teens had already written dozens of songs and landed a publishing contract. Kiol’s style blends soul-rock, alternative folk, and pop, with influences from artists like Paolo Nutini, Jake Bugg, James Bay, Kings of Leon, Amy Winehouse, and The Beatles. He has performed alongside notable acts such as The Prodigy and Editors, and his music is known for its uplifting energy, cinematic arrangements, and heartfelt lyrics. Kiol has released several singles and EPs, including standout tracks like “Joy,” “Broken Up Again,” and the albums “Techno Drug Store” and “Scenic Route,” which showcase his unique fusion of spirited melodies and modern production.
He studied at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute (BIMM) in London, which helped shape his approach to songwriting and arranging. Dedicated to his craft, Kiol is celebrated for his prolific output and dynamic live performances, making him a rising name in the indie and soul-rock scenes.
