Amateur is a Spanish indie pop band formed in 1999 in Valencia. The band's sound is characterized by its catchy melodies, jangly guitars, and introspective lyrics. Amateur has released several albums and EPs, including "Debut!" (2002), "Será Verdad" (2005), and "El Golpe" (2010). The band has toured extensively throughout Spain and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as The Smiths, The Cure, and The Jesus and Mary Chain.
