Rummy Sharma

Rummy Sharma, born Raman Sharma in 1972 in New Delhi, India, is a pioneering DJ and producer known for his contributions to the Indian electronic music scene. He began his career in 1992 and is credited with introducing techno culture to India during the 1990s. One of his notable achievements includes organizing the first electronic music festival in India, Vibrato, in 2000. Rummy Sharma has performed internationally, including at the Love Parade in Berlin in 2007. His music is released through various labels such as BluFin Records, Tronic Music, and Kling Klong. Notable collaborations include "Wade in the Water" with Namito and several EPs with Tom Wax and Mijk Van Dijk.
