Krewella is an electrifying electronic dance music (EDM) duo known for their infectious beats and vibrant performances. Originally formed in 2007 in Chicago, Illinois, the group initially consisted of sisters Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf alongside producer Kris "Rain Man" Trindl. However, following internal disputes, Trindl departed the group in 2014, leaving the Yousaf sisters to continue the Krewella legacy as a duo. Krewella's sound is a dynamic blend of various EDM subgenres, including dubstep, hardstyle, and electro house, mixed with elements of pop, which has helped them to cultivate a diverse and dedicated fanbase.

Krewella burst onto the scene with their debut EP, "Play Hard," in 2012, featuring the breakthrough single "Alive," which catapulted them into the spotlight and earned them a gold certification in the United States. Since then, they have continued to evolve their sound and expand their discography, consistently releasing music that resonates with fans and keeps them at the forefront of the dance music scene.
