Youth Of Today is a hardcore punk band from New York City, formed in 1985. They're known for their fast, aggressive sound and their socially conscious lyrics, which often deal with issues like racism, sexism, and poverty. The band has been through several lineup changes over the years, but their core members have always been vocalist Ray Cappo and guitarist Porcell. Youth Of Today released a string of influential albums in the late '80s and early '90s, including "Break Down the Walls" and "We're Not in This Alone." They broke up in 1990 but reunited in 2004 and have been touring and recording ever since.
