Jenna Nicholls

Jenna Nicholls is a singer-songwriter known for her vintage-inspired blend of folk, jazz, Americana, and early 20th-century musical styles. Raised near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she grew up immersed in classical, jazz, and Irish music, with a deep appreciation for the golden age of radio and the American Songbook. Initially focused on painting, Jenna eventually embraced songwriting, crafting lush, nostalgic melodies and vivid storytelling that reflect her love for classic music films and timeless melodies. She has released three albums — including *Curled Up Toes in Red Mary Janes*, *Radio Parade* (2018), and her latest, *The Commuter* (2025), produced by Grammy winner Larry Campbell — and is known for her warm voice, ukulele playing, and dynamic live performances.

After moving east and settling in New York’s Lower East Side, Jenna built a community among fellow musicians and toured extensively, sharing stages with artists like Glen Hansard and Ingrid Michaelson. Her music captures a vintage yet fresh sound with an emotional and humorous touch, often bringing her shows to life with audience engagement and laughter. Jenna now resides in the Catskill Mountains, continuing to write and perform songs that carry a strong sense of mood and narrative grounded in Americana tradition.
