The Bled

The Bled was a hardcore punk band that emerged from Tucson, Arizona, and carved its name into the post-hardcore scene with their intense, emotive sound and fervent live performances. Originating in 2001, their music is characterized by a blend of hardcore punk, metal, and emotional ferocity, showcasing intricate guitar work and raw, powerful vocals that resonate with listeners deeply passionate about the genre. The band's lineup most prominently featured vocalist James Munoz, guitarist Jeremy Ray Talley, bassist Darren Simoes, and drummer Mike Pedicone, though they experienced some changes over their active years.

The Bled broke through with their full-length debut album "Pass the Flask" in 2003, winning critical acclaim in the underground music community for its unbridled energy and dark lyrical content. The band built on this momentum with subsequent releases, such as "Found in the Flood" in 2005 and "Silent Treatment" in 2007, both of which refined their sound and expanded their fanbase. Their final studio album, "Heat Fetish," was released in 2010, with the band announcing their breakup a year later in 2011. However, their legacy was celebrated with the "Silent Treatment (Vagrant 25th Anniversary Deluxe Edition; 2021 - Remaster)," breathing new life into the classics that characterized their impactful contribution to the post-hardcore scene before their dissolution. The Bled is remembered for their visceral performances, lyrically compelling music, and their role in shaping the post-hardcore sound of the early 2000s.
