Twisted Kala, whose real name is Karine Petiau, is a French electronic music producer and DJ. Born in France, she now divides her time between France and Goa, India. Her musical journey began with a classical music background, having spent 10 years studying piano and music theory at the Conservatory of Music in Montpellier. She was initially drawn to intense sounds found in genres like Hardcore and Drum and Bass. Over the years, Twisted Kala has developed a unique sound that blends electronic elements with deep, meditative qualities. For her, music and dance serve as forms of active meditation, connecting individuals with the universe. She has performed globally, in various countries across Asia, Europe, and beyond, and her music is known for taking listeners on profound inner journeys.
