Kempi

Kempi, born Jerreley Zanian John Slijger on May 4, 1988 in Helmond, Netherlands, is a Dutch rapper who grew up in Eindhoven. He first gained attention in the Dutch hip-hop scene in 2006 when he signed with TopNotch, a prominent Dutch record label.

Known for his gritty, street-oriented lyrics, Kempi's music often reflects his tumultuous upbringing and experiences with the criminal justice system. He released his debut album "Du Zoon" in 2008, which reached number 7 on the Dutch charts. Despite legal troubles that have occasionally interrupted his career, Kempi has remained a notable figure in Dutch hip-hop, known for his raw, authentic style.
