Mountain Grass Unit is a bluegrass band from Asheville, North Carolina. They've been playing together since 2013, and have released three albums: "Mountain Grass Unit" (2015), "Shays' Rebellion" (2017), and "Places I've Been" (2019). Their music is a mix of traditional bluegrass and modern folk, with a focus on strong songwriting and tight harmonies. They've toured extensively throughout the United States, and have played at festivals like Bonnaroo, MerleFest, and the Telluride Bluegrass Festival.
