DJ Rhettmatic

DJ Rhettmatic is a highly respected DJ, turntablist, and producer best known as a founding member of the world-renowned Beat Junkies crew. Hailing from Southern California, Rhettmatic has been an integral part of the West Coast hip-hop and DJ scene since the 1990s. He’s widely celebrated for his technical skills, deep musical knowledge, and collaborative spirit, having worked with artists like J Rocc, Madlib, and the Visionaries—a hip-hop group he also co-founded.

In addition to rocking parties and battle circuits, Rhettmatic has contributed to DJ culture through teaching and mentoring the next generation of turntablists via the Beat Junkie Institute of Sound. His discography spans a wide range of sounds, from underground hip-hop to experimental beats, and his live sets are a blend of precision, energy, and crate-digging excellence.
