Konvent

Konvent is a doom-death metal band from Denmark, known for blending crushingly heavy riffs with guttural vocals and a dark, atmospheric sound. Formed in Copenhagen in 2015, the all-female quartet quickly made an impression with their raw, sludgy style, characterized by slow tempos, bleak melodies, and a visceral intensity that sets them apart in the underground metal scene. They released their debut demo in 2017, which caught the attention of the extreme metal world and led to a deal with Napalm Records.

Their first full-length album, Puritan Masochism, dropped in 2020 to critical acclaim, showcasing a refined yet brutally heavy sound. They followed it up with Call Down the Sun in 2022, continuing to evolve their oppressive sonic landscape with themes of despair, nature, and inner struggle. With their signature pummeling drums, bleak atmospheres, and ferocious growls, Konvent has solidified themselves as a rising force in the international doom and death metal scenes.
