Chatmonchy was a Japanese rock band formed in 2000. The band consisted of Eriko Hashimoto (vocals, guitar), Akiko Fukuoka (bass, vocals), and Kumiko Takahashi (drums, vocals). Chatmonchy's music was characterized by its catchy melodies, energetic performances, and introspective lyrics. The band released seven studio albums, two EPs, and numerous singles before disbanding in 2018. Their most popular songs include "Shinsekai," "Hana no Koro," and "Sekai wa Soredemo Kawari Tsudzukeru."
