Rufio

Rufio is an American punk rock band from Rancho Cucamonga, California, formed in the year 2000. The band quickly gained recognition within the punk rock community for their blend of melodic and fast-paced punk rock—an energy that is vividly captured in their debut album "Perhaps, I Suppose..." released in 2001. This album, along with its infectious single "Above Me," helped Rufio build a strong, loyal fanbase, and it is often viewed as a seminal work in the early 2000s pop-punk scene.

Following their impactful entrance, Rufio continued to hone their craft with a series of releases. 2003 saw the band returning with the album "MCMLXXXV" (1985 in Roman numerals), which stayed true to the band’s roots while demonstrating musical growth and maturity. Their next major studio album, "The Comfort of Home," came out in 2005, maintaining their signature energy and melodic hooks. After a brief hiatus, during which music fans speculated about their future, Rufio resurfaced with an EP titled "Rufio EP" in 2010, followed by another full-length album, "Anybody Out There," in the same year, showing that their fire for crafting dynamic punk rock anthems remained undiminished. Although less prolific in the subsequent years, "CROWN" stands as one of their recent releases, serving as a testament to their continued relevance and durability within the punk rock genre.
