AMBRE

Ambré, born India Ambré Perkins on August 29, 1996, in New Orleans, Louisiana, is a self-taught singer, songwriter, producer, and artist who has carved out a notable career in music despite a challenging upbringing in the foster care system. She started gaining attention after releasing her first song on SoundCloud in 2014 and soon collaborated with big names like Kehlani, joining her on the You Should Be Here tour, and co-writing tracks for H.E.R.'s Grammy-winning self-titled album. Ambré has independently released projects such as *Wanderlust* (2015) and *2090s* (2016), and in 2019, she released her major label debut EP *Pulp* under Roc Nation, the label she is signed to.

Ambré is celebrated not just for her soulful voice and emotive songwriting but also for her versatility—being a multi-instrumentalist and producer—skills she honed while growing up. Her work, recognized with Grammy nominations and a win for Best R&B Album as a songwriter, reflects both her artistic depth and personal resilience.
