Al Pari Quartet

The Al Pari Quartet is a talented string quartet founded in 2017 by four students from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland. The members are Marta Lucjan and Alicja Miruk-Mirska on violins, Magdalena Maier on viola, and Elżbieta Rychwalska on cello. Known for their rich experience both as soloists and chamber musicians, they have earned several prizes individually and continue to develop their craft under the guidance of renowned mentors such as Szymon Krzeszowiec of the Silesian Quartet. Their work spans classical and contemporary repertoire, often exploring complex and expressive sonic landscapes.

They have played at numerous prestigious venues and festivals, including the International FIMU Festival in France and key concerts in Poland and Germany. Their recent projects include albums like *String Quartets* featuring contemporary composers Stephan Thelen, Gebhard Ullmann, and Udo Agnesens, showcasing their striking intensity and nuance in modern string quartet music. The quartet's ability to blend rhythmic complexity and personal expression has earned them recognition on international stages and recording labels.
