Master Plan Inc
Master Plan Inc was a 1970s Chicago soul and funk band led by vocalist Fred Shorts. The group went through several lineup changes over the years, but Shorts remained the constant member. Master Plan Inc only released one official single during their original run - an extremely rare 45 that has become highly sought after by collectors, reportedly valued at over $2000. In recent years, some of the band's unreleased material has been rediscovered and reissued by labels like Jazzman Records, allowing new audiences to experience their silky vocal harmonies and horn-driven funk grooves.
