Patrick Van Goethem
Patrick Van Goethem is a Belgian conductor and harpsichordist who has made a name for himself in the world of early music. He is the founder and artistic director of the vocal ensemble Vox Luminis, which has gained international recognition for its performances of Renaissance and Baroque music. Van Goethem is also a sought-after guest conductor, having led orchestras such as the Orchestre des Champs-Élysées, the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, and the Boston Early Music Festival Orchestra. His recordings have received critical acclaim, including a Gramophone Award for his recording of Bach's "St. Matthew Passion."
