Seaway

Seaway is a Canadian rock band hailing from Oakville, Ontario, that has been bringing their blend of infectious pop-punk and power pop to the music scene since their formation in 2011. Comprising vocalist Ryan Locke, guitarists Andrew Eichinger and Patrick Carleton, bassist Adam Shoji, and drummer Ken Taylor, Seaway quickly built a reputation for their energetic performances and catchy melodies that resonate with the high-spirited essence of youth and nostalgia.

The band's discography showcases their evolution from their earlier raw pop-punk sound to a more refined, yet still edgy musical style. They made a solid mark with their debut full-length album "Hoser" in 2013, followed by "All in My Head", their 2014 EP that further cemented their place in the genre. Their sophomore album, "Colour Blind", released in 2015, was met with critical acclaim, broadening their fanbase with standout tracks that featured anthemic choruses and spirited verses. Seaway's subsequent albums, "Vacation" (2017) and "Big Vibe" (2020), reflect their growth as songwriters and their ability to craft tracks that are both emotive and exuberant, with "Vacation" even serving as a turning point showcasing a richer, more diverse sound. "Fresh Produce" (2019), a compilation album, offered fans acoustic renditions and B-sides, further demonstrating the band's versatility. With their latest work, "Dead Formats, Vol. 1", Seaway continues to explore new territory, solidifying their status as mainstays in the pop-punk landscape while pushing the boundaries of their music.
