Chris Guenther is a country and western singer-songwriter from Southwest Washington. Born and raised on a family farm near Mossyrock, Guenther grew up participating in 4-H and FFA programs, which provided his first opportunities to perform music. He studied history and agriculture education at Washington State University before becoming an agriculture teacher. Guenther balances his teaching career with his musical pursuits, performing and touring during evenings and summers.
Over the past two decades, Guenther has written and recorded eight albums of original country and western songs. He tours throughout the western United States, developing his authentic blend of Americana music. Guenther is also a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar and fiddle. His most recent albums include "Singing to Cows" (2024) and "American Outlaw, Vol. 2" (2023).
