Chirolyn

Chirolyn is a Japanese bassist known for his incredibly energetic stage presence and impressive technical skills. He's probably most recognized for his long stint with hide with Spread Beaver, the band formed to support the legendary X Japan guitarist's solo career. Chirolyn's distinctive playing, often featuring slap bass and rapid-fire riffs, became a key element of hide's sound. He contributed to many of hide's most popular tracks, including "Rocket Dive" and "Pink Spider." After hide's tragic passing, Chirolyn continued to perform and record, both as a solo artist and collaborating with other musicians. He's released several solo albums, showcasing his diverse musical influences and his continued evolution as a bassist.
