Man/Woman/Chainsaw is a noise rock band from Chicago, Illinois. The band was formed in 2012 by guitarist/vocalist Matt Johnson, bassist/vocalist Ryan McGuire, and drummer/vocalist Matt Alswager. The band's sound is characterized by its use of distorted guitars, pounding drums, and shouted vocals. Man/Woman/Chainsaw has released four albums to date, including "Ode To Clio" (2014), "What Lucy Found There" (2016), "Back/Burden" (2018), and "Any Given Sunday" (2020). The band has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as The Jesus Lizard, Shellac, and Big Black.
