Traxman (real name Craig Alexander) is a Chicago-born producer and a pivotal figure in the footwork/juke scene, blending frenetic rhythms, soulful samples, and raw, dancefloor-minded energy. A longtime affiliate of the Teklife crew, he’s known for pushing the genre’s boundaries while staying rooted in its South Side origins. His 2012 album *Da Mind of Traxman* solidified his rep as a forward-thinking beat architect, and recent EPs like *Grimy Acid* and *JUKEPOP* keep his signature sound fresh—think chopped vocals, neck-snapping kicks, and trippy, psychedelic twists on classic house and ghetto house vibes.
