He first gained attention in the late '80s and early '90s with solo albums like EE Ticket and American Matador, showcasing his blend of technical guitar chops and melodic sensibility. Bonilla has worked with legendary artists such as Keith Emerson and Glenn Hughes, and he's contributed to numerous film and TV scores as a session player and arranger.
He also collaborated closely with keyboard legend Keith Emerson in the progressive rock project The Three Fates Project, combining orchestral arrangements with classic Emerson, Lake & Palmer material and original compositions.
