Les Stroud is a Canadian singer-songwriter, survivalist, and television personality. He is best known for his television series Survivorman, in which he is dropped into remote wilderness locations with minimal gear and must survive for seven days. Stroud has also released several albums of folk and roots music, including "Mother Earth" and "Embers." His music is often inspired by his experiences in the wilderness and his passion for the natural world.
