Georg Grun

Georg Grün is a prominent German choral conductor, particularly noted for his work in the Saarland region of Germany. He has studied a wide range of musical disciplines, including church music, music education, conducting, Catholic theology, and musicology, primarily at the Hochschule für Musik Saar and the Universität des Saarlandes. In 1990, Grün founded the KammerChor Saarbrücken, where he still serves as the artistic director. His influence in choral conducting extends beyond his local roots, as he has held a professorship for choral conducting and frequently participates as a guest conductor and jury member in international events.
